This privacy policy governs your use of the software application PTC Mobile App (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by FinCredit Inc. The Application is designed to process reward card transactions.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application allows a merchant to collect store entries by scanning QR code using the camera and/or by manually entering pre-registered card ID or phone numbers of a customer as well as the amount of the customer purchase at the business. This customer data is transmitted to a database.
If the device collecting the information loses connectivity, a dialog may appear with details and a suggestion to manually collect information for later transmission.
User Provided Information
The Application does not have a registration option. The only information which is obtained is a customer’s reward card ID number or phone number. The customer providing this information would have been already registered in our reward program.
Automatically Collected Information
The information collected from the Application is automatically transmitted off of the mobile device and posted to our database. Since the customer is already registered in our reward program, his card ID and phone number is already in our database. The Application has the purpose of posting the reward transaction in the customer reward account.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
No.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
No.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
Transactions are collected are stored on our server, and the retention policy is to not delete such information.
Children
This Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@propertytaxcard.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The only information which could be sent to our database are card ID # and phone numbers, and these are opt-in from a registration process. The only personally identifiable information is the phone number of the customer.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
