The Application allows a merchant to collect store entries by scanning QR code using the camera and/or by manually entering pre-registered card ID or phone numbers of a customer as well as the amount of the customer purchase at the business. This customer data is transmitted to a database.
If the device collecting the information loses connectivity, a dialog may appear with details and a suggestion to manually collect information for later transmission.
The Application does not have a registration option. The only information which is obtained is a customer’s reward card ID number or phone number. The customer providing this information would have been already registered in our reward program.
The information collected from the Application is automatically transmitted off of the mobile device and posted to our database. Since the customer is already registered in our reward program, his card ID and phone number is already in our database. The Application has the purpose of posting the reward transaction in the customer reward account.
Transactions are collected are stored on our server, and the retention policy is to not delete such information.
This Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The only information which could be sent to our database are card ID # and phone numbers, and these are opt-in from a registration process. The only personally identifiable information is the phone number of the customer.
